Biography | (1930-2016) Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1930. Enlisted U.S. Army in 1947, trained as mechanic and welder, tested and accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Graduated and commissioned into the Army Corps of Engineers in 1953. Served in Korea and Vietnam, retired from duties at Ft. Huachuca in 1974 with the rank of Lt. Col. Graduated from University of Arizona in 1976 with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Lifetime of dedication to Boy Scouts of America. Thirty years of service to the Lions Club with activity in the Sight & Hearing Foundation Board and Girl’s Softball. Served on the Benson Planning and Zoning Commission, and worked with area youth soccer, San Pedro Valley Humane Society. Active in American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. |
