ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING – JANUARY 24, 2026

The 2026 Annual Membership Meeting of the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton – Phoenix/Tempe, located at 4400 S. Rural Road (on the corner of the U.S. 60 & Rural Road in Tempe).

Updates on Society programs, committees, and our Strategic Plan will be provided and elections for three AVHOFS Director positions will be conducted. The meeting will kick off with a complimentary breakfast buffet and social hour at 8:00am, followed by the meeting which starts at 9:00am and should conclude no later than 11:30am.  Hall of Fame members may bring a spouse, partner, significant other, or guest.

The agenda (below), a link to RSVP, and further information about the meeting will be sent to all Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame members.  Due to technical difficulties and a lack of interest, we are currently unable to offer a virtual option (via Zoom), for attendance at this year’s meeting; we apologize for any inconvenience.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING – JANUARY 25, 2025

The Society’s 2025 Annual Membership Meeting was held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Doubletree by Hilton-Phoenix hotel in Phoenix. Over 50 Hall of Fame members and guests attended the meeting either in-person or by zoom from 9am-1130am.

Elections for the AVHOFS Board of Directors were conducted and the following members were administered the oath of office for their positions:

JANUARY 2024 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The Annual AVHOFS Business and Membership Meeting was held on Saturday January 27, 2024, at the Main Assembly Room of the City of Tempe’s Maintenance Training Facility located at 55 S. Preist Road, Tempe, AZ.  The meeting included updates on each of our Programs (Scholarships, Military Outreach for Military Families, Veteran Justice Courts, State Veterans Home Outreach, VA Employee Recognition, and the AVHOFS Flags for Families program), as well as the Election for two positions on the AVHOFS Board of Directors, and updates on the Patriotic Awards Luncheon, and our plans for the future.
