2027 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

SAVE THE DATE – JANUARY 23, 2027

The date and location for the 2027 Annual Membership Meeting of the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society has been locked in!  The membership meeting will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2027, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton – Phoenix/Tempe, located at 4400 S. Rural Road (on the corner of the U.S. 60 & Rural Road in Tempe).

We look forward to providing updates to our members and sharing the camaraderie with all attendees.  Elections for AVHOFS Officers and Director positions will also be conducted. Like previous years, the meeting will kick off with a complimentary breakfast buffet and social hour at 8:00am, followed by the meeting which starts at 9:00am and should conclude no later than Noon.  Hall of Fame members may bring a spouse, partner, significant other, or guest.

More information, an Agenda, and link to RSVP is forthcoming. We also plan to provide a virtual option (via Zoom), for members who can’t make it in person, provided we get enough interest for that option.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - JANUARY 24, 2026

The 2026 Annual Membership Meeting of the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society was held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton - Phoenix/Tempe.

Updates on Society programs, committees, and our Strategic Plan were provided to members and their guests, and the annual elections were conducted.  Kicking off the morning with a complimentary breakfast buffet and social hour, we enjoyed the company of approximately 50 attendees. The agenda at the link below was followed and minutes from the meeting are pending approval at this time.  Clyde Meade was re-elected for his second term as Director and new Directors Franklin Alger, and Nathaniel Carr were elected for their first two-year term. Please join us in congratulating each of them!

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - JANUARY 25, 2025

The Society's 2025 Annual Membership Meeting was held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Doubletree by Hilton-Phoenix hotel in Phoenix. Over 50 Hall of Fame members and guests attended the meeting either in-person or by zoom from 9am-1130am.

Elections for the AVHOFS Board of Directors were conducted and the following members were administered the oath of office for their positions:

JANUARY 2024 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The Annual AVHOFS Business and Membership Meeting was held on Saturday January 27, 2024, at the Main Assembly Room of the City of Tempe's Maintenance Training Facility located at 55 S. Preist Road, Tempe, AZ.  The meeting included updates on each of our Programs (Scholarships, Military Outreach for Military Families, Veteran Justice Courts, State Veterans Home Outreach, VA Employee Recognition, and the AVHOFS Flags for Families program), as well as the Election for two positions on the AVHOFS Board of Directors, and updates on the Patriotic Awards Luncheon, and our plans for the future.
