Biography | Born Paterson, New Jersey in 1944. Entered US Marine Corps in 1962, discharged in 1984 with rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Served in Arizona Army National Guard for five years. Past Silver Spur Rodeo Events Chairman for Yuma Jaycees; Past Board President for Yuma County Historical Society, helped form the Territorial Detachment, Marine Corps League, Yuma, Forming/Past Commandant, Wild West Detachment Marine Corps League, Tombstone, Three Time Department Commandant, State of Arizona, Past President/Fundraising Coordinator, Yuma Vigilantes, helped to raise $110,000 for the American Cancer Society, Board Member and Fundraising Committee member for the Association of Retarded Citizens,(ARC)member of the Tombstone Lions Club, and the Tombstone Helldorado Days Committee, Chairman, Tomstone Historic Districts Commission, Board member, Cochise County Historical Society,Board Member, Cochise County Historical Society, Member, Arizona Historical Society, Huachuca Museum Society, and the Arizona Preservation Foundation, as well as a member of American Legion Roy Fourr Post 24, Tombstone and a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans. |
