Biography | Born in Richmond Hill, New York in 1944. Entered the U.S. Army in 1965, served in Vietnam, retired at Ft. Huachuca in 1993 with rank of Colonel. Earned BS degree in accounting under the Army bootstrap program. Past President of Fort Huachuca 50. Served as Corporate Membership Chair for the Military Intelligence Association; received the Knowlton Award in 1999 for distinguished service in the field of Military Intelligence. Member of the Governor’s Military Facilities Task Force and presently serves as Co-Chair of the Governor’s Military Affairs Commission. Active in efforts to protect Arizona military installations during the Base Realignment and Closure deliberations. Established Team Cochise for health care, education and employment of active military, veterans, and spouses. Supports efforts to protect the San Pedro National Riparian Area. |
