Biography | Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1942. Enlisted in US Air Force, 1964–68 with service in Vietnam as a Medical Corpsman. Graduated from Physician Assistant School. Served in US Army as Physician Assistant 1980-1986, discharged with rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2. Relocated to Arizona and worked as a PA until 1997 when he became seriously ill. Left partially paralyzed and unable to work, began volunteering for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic. Became a Volunteer in Policing for Tempe Police Department in 2001 as a Motorist Service Assist Volunteer. Currently serves as Team Leader and trains volunteers. Received a Commendation from President Bush in 2007 and the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2008. Life member of Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. |
