| Biography | Born in Lansing, MI in 1945, Rod Preuss served as a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the U.S. Army for 22 years, retiring in 2007 with 34 Years, as Chief Warrant Officer-4. His civilian career includes emergency support to fighting wildfires in six states with Curfman Emergency Services, Sierra Vista since 2017; and Driver for the Sierra Vista School District for 12 years. Rod’s other accomplishments include Trooper, and Commander, B Troop, 4th US Cavalry (Memorial), Fort Huachuca since 2004; Arizona Rangers, Sierra Vista Company: as Ranger, Commander and Historian since 2009. Rod Preuss supports and serves veterans and their families in many ways: as Breakfast Chairman, and Cook at VFW Post 9972 since 2004; Treasurer, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1093 since 2013; and Volunteer Military Funeral Escort, Southern Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery since 2023.
