Biography | (1976-2004) Born in San Jose, California in 1976. Active duty Specialist, US Army, 75th Ranger Regiment, 2002-2004, killed serving in Afghanistan. Posthumously promoted to Corporal. A 1998 graduate of ASU, Pat was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals and quickly established himself as a defensive star. Throughout his college and NFL careers, Pat was generous with his time and dedication to his Arizona fans. He volunteered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Arizona, Boys Hope, Girls Hope, and the March of Dimes. Pat often visited local schools in the Valley to read and mentor Arizona youth. Giving up a multi-million dollar NFL contract after the 9/11 attacks, Pat joined the Army and became a role model for our nation’s youth to emulate, many following him into military service. |
