Biography

Born in La Mesa, New Mexico in 1947, Lori Wysong graduated in 1977 from Physician Assistant School, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. She retired in 1989 as Physician Assistant/Chief Warrant Officer Three, Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Lori currently serves as the National President, Women’s Army Corps Veterans’ Association-Army Women United (WACVA-AWU). An active leader with Coronado Chapter, Military Officers Association of America; she spearheads the Chapter’s scholarship fundraising; and as JROTC Director, Lori presents awards to JROTC cadets. Lori volunteers at the Care Net Pregnancy Center of Cochise County, Rachel’s Vineyard healing retreats, and Peaches Pantry food packages for children. She is active in seven church ministries at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Sierra Vista. Lori Wysong’s volunteerism is a broad spectrum of community projects which makes a huge difference in her community.
