Born in Portland, Oregon in 1939, Larry Cervarich served in the US Air Force from 1961 to 1967. Larry’s civilian career is food service; he owned a restaurant, Commercial Bakery and Catering Company, in Portland from 1987-2002. After moving to Arizona in 2006, Larry founded two charities within the West Valley: Homeless Youth Connection founded in 2009 to support homeless youth; and twelve years later, still active in the West Valley; and Meals of Joy which has been active for 8 years and supports seniors with medical and financial issues. The seniors are provided meals delivered daily by volunteers. Meals of Joy projected to be served this year: 46,000 meals in 9 West Valley cities. Larry Cervarich, a member of the Verrado Rotary Club of Buckeye, Arizona, is proud to serve the people in the West Valley!
