Born in Jefferson City, Missouri in 1955, Karen Craig has over 30 years of service in the US Army and Army National Guard, culminating in her last assignment as State Command Sergeant Major, Arizona Army National Guard. Karen currently serves as Executive Office Manager, Phoenix VA Health Care System.

Karen’s civic contributions include volunteer service with the Arizona Special Olympics, the Phoenix Veteran’s Day Parade, the Maricopa County StandDown, and various Women Veteran forums. Her support of Guard families is demonstrated by securing and disbursing over $50,000 in assistance to families each year for the last seventeen years as the volunteer Executive Officer, Arizona Reserve Component Emergency Relief Fund. Karen Craig’s veteran advocacy contributions include serving as National President of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States since 2018.
