Biography | Born in Brooklyn, New York; 1939. Enlisted in U.S. Air Force in 1956 with duty in Vietnam. Retired in 1976 as Staff Sergeant. Civilian career with the US Postal Service, retired as an EAS-16. Substitute teacher at two Native American schools on the Pima Reservation. As former Commander, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 33, Gilbert, raised funds for the State Veterans Home, and adopted military families during the holidays. As a member of the Jewish War Veterans, helped raise funds to purchase equipment such as television sets for the State Veteran Home and VA Medical Center, Phoenix. As Commander for American Legion Post 55, provided game prizes for State Veteran Home residents. As a member of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Posse, provided security for the 30,000 residents at Sun Lakes, Arizona. |
