(1922-2017) Born in Norman, Oklahoma in 1922.  Served in the U.S. Navy in WWII  as Supply Officer, USS Menifee (APA 202).  From  a  University of Kansas faculty position, was recalled to active duty during the   Korean Conflict.  Later served as Supply Officer, USS Altair (AKS   32) and Material Control Officer, SIXTH FLEET in the Mediterranean   Sea.  Completed a 30-year Navy career as  a two-star admiral,   Supply Corps.  President, Governing Board, Recreation Centers of Sun   City West; Member, Sun Health Corporation Board of Directors;   Member, Sun Health Leadership Committee; Chairman, Sun Health   Governmental Affairs Committee; Treasurer, Del E. Webb Memorial   Hospital; and President, Sun City West Rotary Club.  President, West   Valley Symphony Orchestra Association.  Raised $100,000 for Sun   Health Del E. Webb Hospital.  Active member, the Military Officers   Association of America and Rotary International.
