Biography | Born in Bangor, Maine, in 1951. Graduated from the University of Maine in 1973 and the Naval Postgraduate School in 1986. Retired in 2002 as a Colonel after 30 years in the Army, serving as a Military Police and Foreign Area Officer. Serves as the Community Coordinator, Chair of the Fundraising Committee and Vice-Chair of the Membership Committee of the Disabled American Veterans, Fry Chapter 14, Sierra Vista, Arizona. Coordinates projects with Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca organizations and spearheads initiatives to provide better support to “at-risk” veterans, such as the Sierra Vista community holiday project. Helped to refocus the community on homeless veterans. Also a member of the Women’s Army Corps Veterans Association, San Pedro Chapter 95, where she fully participates in fundraising and community welfare/activity programs. |
