Born in Moline, Illinois in 1947. Retired Chief Master Sergeant, US Air Force, 1966 – 1996, including Viet Nam and Desert Storm/Desert Shield. John has helped acquire seventeen vans for transporting veterans to medical appointments. He visits veterans in area assisted living communities. John has volunteered hundreds of hours at local Food Banks. He collected and transported reading materials for families of the Yarnell Hill Fire in 2013. John and wife Pat have established two scholarship foundations in honor of their late son Joshua Morgan at the University of Arizona and Peoria High School. He is active with the Air Force Sergeants Association Chapter 1260, Northwest Valley Veterans Association, Unified Arizona Veterans, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 24. John is the DAV Northern District Commander overseeing 8 chapters comprised of over 12,000 Disabled Veterans.
