Biography

Born in Walla Walla, WA in 1974, Graciela Marroquín served as a Plane Captain, US Navy, and as a Combat Medic, Operation Iraqi Freedom 2, Washington Army National Guard; US Army, for 15 years, 1992-2007. Her civilian career in Arizona includes Program Coordinator/Lead Facilitator, Institute for Healing of Memories-North America; and Swim Instructor assisting adults, children, and veterans with disabilities. Graciela served as a veteran panelist for the “Piece of My Heart” Ironwood High School Drama Club; to include as a Peer Mentor for Veterans, Program Coordinator, Warrior Songs for Women Veterans, and Coordinator/Facilitator for the St. Francis Retreats for Veterans. She mentors many women veterans healing from PTS/MST. Since arriving in Arizona in 2016, Graciela Marroquin has dedicated herself to assisting in guiding veterans recovering from Post-Traumatic Stress and Moral Injury.
