(1936-2021) Born in Mt. Vernon, New York in 1936. US Army from 1958 to 1978. Service in the Sierra Vista Community for over 30 years. Serves as volunteer member for 10 years, including 2 years as President, in the Sierra Vista Municipal Property Corporation, issuing bonds for capital city projects and paying off two bonds early, saving taxpayer funds. As a member of the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery Foundation, helped to raise $140,000 in support of the Cemetery. As Life Member of AMVETS, and member of the AMVETS Bell Tower Carillon project, helped to raise over $100,000 to procure and install the Carillon. As member of Military Officers Association of America, Coronado Chapter, has raised thousands of dollars in 15 years to fund MOAA JROTC scholarships and Books for Troops
