Biography | Born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania in 1949, Pat Farrell enlisted in the US Navy in 1968, serving as Aviation Electronics Technician until 1971. His civilian career included US Postal Service and Corrections Job Coordinator. Pat took the lead in 2013, 2014, and 2015 in organizing, procuring funds and materiel, recruiting volunteers, and overseeing the three-day Tri-State (Arizona, California, and Nevada) Homeless Veterans StandDown in Bullhead City, assisting 750 homeless and at risk veterans. An effective 2013 StandDown resulted in Pat and his committee receiving a grant of $10,300 to organize StandDown 2014. Pat also volunteered with the HUD & VA Supportive Veterans Housing Project and numerous veterans homeless programs. He took actions that led to the construction of the VA Community Outpatient Clinic in Kingman. Pat Farrell works with incarcerated veterans at the prison facility in Kingman. |
