Biography | Born in Batavia, New York in 1930. Served with Task Force Smith in Korean conflict, U.S. Army. Past president, New York State Student Nurses Association, and past Michigan State Chairman of Special Olympics for mentally handicapped. Volunteered with Michigan handicapped children’s causes for 10 years. City Commissioner in Casa Grande, AZ, for 14 years. Board member and president, Crisis Care Center of Casa Grande. Received State of Arizona Award of Excellence for his dedication, leadership and distinguished contributions to the education of special education students. Co-founder of Sun Lakes chapter of Military Order of the Purple Heart; served in MOPH positions at state and national levels. Chairman for building the Combat Wounded Veterans Memorial at Wesley Bolin Memorial Park. Continues serving veterans and civic organizations. |
