Born in Findlay, Ohio in 1950, Denny Bash was sworn into the US Navy Reserve Medical Service Corps in 1980; his 30 years of service included recall to active duty for Desert Storm, Kosovo, and the War on Terrorism.  He retired as Captain, US Navy, in 2010.  His civilian career included Director positions in rehabilitation services and real estate management.  Denny is the volunteer Chairman of the City of Surprise Planning and Zoning Commission which recommends plans and conditional use permits to the Mayor and City Council.  He is a volunteer member on Congresswoman Lesko’s Military and Veterans Advisory Council.  Denny Bash’s community service includes instructing Civil Air Patrol youth, and volunteering with Hospice of the Valley’s Saluting Our Veterans Program where he visits veterans and thanks them for their service and dedication to our Nation.
