Biography | (1937-2016) Born in Los Angeles, California in 1937. Served U.S. Army National Guard (1953-1959) as a Staff Sergeant. Commissioned Second Lieutenant, U.S. Air Force (1962-1977), retired as Captain. Civilian career in the defense industry. He has provided 300 hours of community service as a member of the Kiwanis and 4000 hours of service as a member of the Sun City West Posse. As a Veterans Service Officer for the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he advocates for veterans by developing their claims packages. A Veterans Affairs volunteer, he expanded the Angel Tree program which benefits veterans in Prescott and Phoenix. As a VFW leader, he helped fund three remodeled hospice rooms and television sets to the Veterans Affairs Community Living Center. |
