Biography | Born in Covina, California in 1956, Randy Meyer served in the US Air Force as a fighter pilot, F-16 instructor, and later, command and staff assignments for 27 years, retiring in 2006 at the rank of Colonel. Randy’s second retirement was Captain, Airbus 320/321, JetBlue Airways Corporation, 2007 to 2021. Randy’s community service includes responsibilities involving veterans assistance, and Operations Officer duties in the Glendale, AZ Civil Air Patrol Squadron. Randy Meyer is commended for being the longest serving member of the Arizona Post-9/11 Military Family Relief Fund since its inception in 2007. For over 12 years, Randy Meyer has served as Chair conducting meetings each month to review financial assistance requests from injured Arizona veterans. 2,600 Arizona veterans have received financial assistance of up to $20K per family; nearly $10 million dollars have been granted. |
