Biography | (1962-2015) Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rudy Hacker served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Ground Supply Officer with the rank of Captain. Rudy took his skills to Intel Corporation – Corporate Logistics and Planning. In 2008 Rudy founded the Mentoring and Planning Services, a unique volunteer program which enabled Intel employees to share their specific skills with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and governmental organizations. The overall impact was 350 Intel pro bono volunteers donating 5,000 hours serving two hundred organizations. In 2015 Rudy was the Co-Leader of the Code Talker to Code Writer Initiative, the implementation of computer programming at three Navajo Reservation high schools equipped with high tech laboratory equipment and benefitting over 200 students so far. |
