Born in Newton, Massachusetts in 1958, Bob Dalpe is a U.S. Air Force veteran weather technician (forecaster) and a retired engineering technician and member of the Veterans Group, Intel Corporation, Chandler. Bob’s volunteer work supporting and advocating for veterans quickly spread to other organizations: volunteer, Maricopa County StandDown, 2011-present; caretaker to the Phoenix Pearl Harbor Survivors, 2014-present; Director, Unified Arizona Veterans, 2015–present; and Team Leader, Horse Rhythm Foundation, 2015-present. Bob Dalpe is an avid supporter of youth programs as a volunteer, Glendale Public Schools and North Pointe Prep School, 1995-2010; volunteer, US Academic Decathlon Competitions, 2001–present; judge, Arizona Science Bowl, 2007-2010; and from 2007-present, various leadership positions with the Naval Sea Cadet Corps Veterans Pride Battalion – Division Officer, 2007; Executive Officer, 2008-2009; Commanding Officer, 2009-2012; and Associate Region Director for Recruiting, 2010-present.
