Biography

Born in Manchester, Connecticut in 1955, Palmer Miller served twenty-three years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 2001. Palmer’s civilian career includes positions in veteran employment, benefits and Congressional casework. Palmer became an advocate for veterans and devoted thousands of hours in helping them apply for their earned benefits. From 2005 to present, Palmer’s volunteer services have included: Co-Founder of the Casa Grande Veterans Day Parade; Creative Director for the annual Casa Grande Memorial Day event; and fundraising for the Pinal County Veterans Memorial. Palmer is Co-Founder of the non-profit organization HOHP/Heroes of Pinal County in 2012, creating the first veterans stand down in Pinal County. Palmer is an artist/painter over 40 years and donates a portion of his art for veteran awareness and fundraising events.
