Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1966, Tim Newbill served in the US Army as a Chaplain’s Assistant, 1987-2008; retiring as a Master Sergeant.  Tim is also an Emergency Manager, Retired, City of Goodyear.  He is the Pastor, Greater New Zion MBC, Phoenix.  Tim’s service to the community is extensive:  he is a volunteer chaplain with both the Goodyear Fire and Police Department and the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society; he serves as a Board Member of both the Arizona Charter Academy, a public charter school in Surprise, AZ; and previously the H.O.P.E Team, Cancer Treatment Center of America where he supported patients with cancer.  Although Tim Newbill is no longer active in emergency management, he has built strong relationships with city officials in many municipalities and continues to share his knowledge and expertise.
