Born in Marshalltown, Iowa in 1963, Mike Roberts is a retired US Army Command Sergeant Major, 1981-2010, with service in Iraq. He is a Program Manager, Intelligence, Information and Services, at Raytheon. As President/Custodian of the Fort Huachuca Sergeants Major Association, Mike is the driving force behind supporting Fort Huachuca and the Fort Huachuca community by organizing volunteers and raising funds. As President of the Military Intelligence Corps Association, Fort Huachuca Chapter, Mike leads efforts to recognize soldiers within the Fort Huachuca Military Intelligence commands and organizes fundraising events. As Co-Chair and Secretary of the Fort Huachuca Retiree Council, Mike has coordinated the 2015, 2016, and 2017 Retiree Appreciation Days at Fort Huachuca. As Secretary, Vice Chair and Chair of the Greater Sierra Vista United Veterans Council, Mike Roberts continues to advocate for veterans and veteran’s issues.
