Biography | (1983-2018) Born in Ocala, Florida, Kyle Brayer served in the US Marine Corps on active duty for four years, including deployment to Al Asad, serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon honorable discharge, he transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve, and volunteered as a mentor in the “Marine 4 Life” Program, preparing Marines for employment through a veteran networking program. In 2007 Kyle joined the Tempe Fire & Rescue Department, where he was promoted from fireman to engineer to paramedic, before advancing to the rank of Captain. Kyle continued his commitment to veterans by becoming a FireVet organization volunteer, mentoring veterans on gaining post-discharge employment. Kyle was instrumental in creating the Veteran’s Telemedicine Program which provides veterans with in-home care from certified medical staff, utilizing live video medical consultations from the VA primary care facility. |
