(1954-2015) Born in Tremonton, Utah in 1954. Jackie Moore entered the U.S. Army in Salt Lake City, Utah and served 30 years, including deployment to Bosnia with the 1st Armored Division. She retired as Command Sergeant Major, with her last duty assignment, Commandant of the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy. Jackie has continued to serve the U.S. Army and Army veterans by serving four years on the Chief of Staff of the Army’s Retiree Council, where she presents and advocates retiree concerns and issues. A staunch supporter of the Sergeants Major Association, she supports all events in terms of fundraising, community and post support, and Soldier recognition. Jackie continues to serve her community and veterans as an officer in the United Veterans Council of Sierra Vista, AZ, where she provides recommendations regarding contributions, fund raising events, and strategic AUSA communications.
