Biography

Born in Independence, Kansas in 1944, Joe Frame served as a machinist mate in the US Navy including service in Vietnam.  Joe retired in 2008 as a custom mill worker with the Lumber Products Company in Chandler.  In addition to being an active member of The American Legion Post 137, Tonopah; and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12098, Buckeye; in 2011 Joe started serving as the volunteer Director of the Veterans Assisting Veterans nonprofit organization.  Joe has driven veterans from the West Valley to VA appointments in Phoenix (over 3000 hours of driving), and provides electric wheelchairs and hospital beds to veterans, and clothes and furniture to Catholic Charities MANA House and US Vets Initiative, both in Phoenix.  Joe Frame petitioned the Department of Veterans Affairs for a Clinic in the Southwest area of the Valley.
