Biography | (1932-2009) Born in Magnolia, Maryland in 1932. Enlisted U.S. Army 1949; served in Korea and Vietnam; discharged active service in 1971 with the rank of Master Sergeant; served in U.S. Army (Ready) Retired Reserve until 1992. Active volunteer with Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster and other adult leadership positions with the Cochise and Catalina Councils, and the Community of Huachuca. Active in Veterans of Foreign Wars with numerous state and national awards for service and youth activities. Received the National Americanism Officer of the Year from the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Assists veterans claim un-awarded military medals and entitlements. Member of American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and Lions International. |
