Biography | Born in Fort Hood, Texas in 1972, Dave Campbell served as a U.S. Army combat engineer in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, 1990-1992. Dave’s accomplishments include teaching six-weeks-long Crisis Intervention training to East Valley and West Valley police, firefighter, and first responder departments, 2015-Present. Dave started and maintains an Alcoholics Anonymous weekly meeting program for veterans, 2014-Present. He founded and maintains Operation Redemption, a 12-step spiritual program for incarcerated veterans at the Florence State Prison, 2019-Present. He supports the Veterans 5-9 mission by providing veterans with evening and weekend resources (food, lodging, transportation, and mental health and substance abuse intervention), 2016-Present. Dave Campbell is a volunteer facilitator at the Healing of Memories for Veterans program in Scottsdale; 15 weekend workshops so far, he has helped over 150 veterans! |
