Biography | Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1953, Bruce Hamilton served four years in the Navy and 17 years in the Arizona Army National Guard as a supply specialist and recruiter, retiring in 2003. He is currently the Ser¬vice to the Armed Forces Regional Outreach Specialist, with the Ameri¬can Red Cross, serving military families, homeless and at-risk veterans across southern Arizona. Since 2010, Bruce has volunteered with Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans, an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization which provides support to Tucson’s homeless and veterans-in-need population. Since 2011, he has served as the Event Coordinator of the Annual Tucson StandDown which serves over 400 veter¬ans. Bruce currently serves as the Chairman of the City of Tucson Veterans Advisory Committee. Bruce Hamilton’s leadership has positively impacted the community, fostering hope for homeless and at-risk veterans. |
