Biography | Born in Highland Park, Michigan in 1946. Active duty U.S. Army Special Forces, service in Vietnam, 1968-1972. After 9/11, volunteered for peacekeeper duty in Kosovo. LtCol, US Army Retired, in 1994. Service as Dept of Economic Security case manager and welfare fraud investigator, Dept of Army civilian in Latin America, Maricopa County deputy sheriff, corrections officer for incarcerated youth, and police officer at VAMC Phoenix. While an El Mirage, AZ police officer, he saved the life of a student. He taught free martial arts classes to the community including underprivileged youth. As a member of several veterans organizations, he has volunteered many hours at the Phoenix VA Medical Center, donated books to the Luke AFB Library, and actively supported the Military and Veterans Hospitality Room at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. |
