| Biography | Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1936. Lieutenant Colonel, US Air Force, retired in 1980, including three tours in Vietnam as a fighter pilot. Former Operations Research Senior Technical Specialist, McDonnell Douglas Company. Resident of Cave Creek, Arizona. Ron is very active in programs at his Church and since 2011 is an active volunteer with the annual Arizona StandDown project. He led his chapter, the Arizona Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America to get involved in volunteering at the Arizona StandDowns. He organized a project in 2012 that is ongoing to provide water to homeless veterans. Ron has raised funds for JROTC Scholarships and also financially supports the Veterans Heritage Project, Cave Creek, Arizona. Ron is a volunteer for mentoring veterans at Arizona State University. |
