Biography

(1931-2017) Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1931. His active duty was with U.S. Air Force (Intelligence), Airman First Class, Korean War. Civilian career was in business and higher education. As Chairman, Tucson Veterans Affairs Committee, raises funds and coordinates volunteers carrying out large scale “Operation Exodus”, annually providing foodstuff and beverages to Fort Huachuca soldiers passing through Tucson Airport at Christmas. He serves as a Tucson Airport Authority “Ambassador” helping military personnel in the Military Lounge. Raised funds to provide furniture and needed items to the Tucson VA Medical Center. As a member of the Joe Foss Institute, he presents Korean War information to children in elementary, middle, and high schools. Raised funds in 2009, enabling 300 patients and caregivers to attend three “Patriotic Pops” concerts. Involved each Memorial Day in special cemetery services.
