As Mayor, City of Peoria, Arizona, 1997-2007, organized a coalition of 12 local governments and communities and raised over $350,000 to support Luke AFB, 2002-2005. Founder and sponsor of Peoria Chamber of Commerce Luke Air Force Base Appreciation Days events. Honored veterans by creating two memorials at Rio Vista Park, Peoria, Arizona. Judge, Arrowhead Justice Court, 2007-2010. Long-time supporter of Boy Scouting, including service as President, Grand Canyon Council, 2008-2010.
