| Biography | Born in Newbern, Alabama in 1963. Active Duty, US Navy, SKC (SW), retired with 23 years (1982-2005) active service, including two years in support of Operations Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. After retirement, Bobby Jones earned his BA in Secondary Education/History, MBA in Public Administration, and MS in Organizational Leadership. Currently teaching grades 8-12 at Country Gardens Charter School, Bobby has a deep commitment to youth educational development. He served as a member of the MANA (Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force ) House Advisory Council from the beginning. He has helped raise thousands of dollars in support of MANA House homeless veterans transitional living facility. He is a consistent volunteer for the annual Maricopa County StandDown, providing services and support for homeless veterans. He was inducted in Sigma Alpha Pi on July 24, 2015 as a Presidential Member. |
