Biography

Born in San Jose, California in 1969, Anthony Irby served in the US Army, Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. An employee of the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Anthony serves tirelessly as Homeless Veteran Outreach Coordinator/Justice-Involved Veterans Coordinator, where he counsels veterans, expedites their claims, and provides assessment and case management for veterans participating in the Maricopa Veterans Treatment Court. Since 2008, Anthony serves as a volunteer Commissioner, City of Phoenix Military Veterans Commission which accomplished the setting aside of 25 housing choice vouchers for Project H3 (Health, Home, Hope) and also funded a HUD-VA Supportive Housing Initiative. Since 2014, Anthony Irby serves as a volunteer Advisory Committee Member, Arizona Military Family Relief Fund, which reviews and approves financial assistance requests from injured and eligible Post-9/11 Arizona veterans.
