Biography

Born in Grand Junction, Colorado in 1949, Vic Peterson served 22 years in the US Air Force, including service in Vietnam and Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Southern Watch, and Enduring Freedom. Vic served as a Mine Safety and Health Inspector and National Mine Rescue Team Member employed by the US Department of Labor. Regarding legislative issues, Vic currently serves as Vice-President, Arizona Alliance for Retired Ameri-cans and Legislative Representatives, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, Arizona. Very active in the Arizona State Legislature Veterans Caucus and the Legislative Committee of Senator Sinema’s Veterans Advisory Council, Vic is a key leader helping with legislation that serves seniors, Federal civil service retirees, and veterans. Vic Peterson is an active member of Team Red White and Blue, and Valors on 8th, two organizations which help veterans transition back to civilian life.
