Biography

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1944, Mike Wold served as a Supply Offi¬cer for two years on the USS CHEMUNG, a fleet replenishment oiler ship, Vietnam theater of operations. Mike’s civilian career included positions in the aerospace and defense industry, graduate level teaching and ex¬ecutive leadership coaching. Starting in 2013, Mike organized the free delivery of 25 Healing of Memories for Veterans workshops for over 300 men and women veterans and 40 veteran spouses. Mike volunteers with the Arizona Coalition for Military Families as the Co-Chair of its Faith-Based Initiative to prepare faith communities to serve veterans. For four years he has been the leader of the Faith and Spirituality Track at the annual Coalition Symposium. Mike Wold is an active promoter of the Be Connected Program designed to reduce Arizona veteran deaths by suicide.
