Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1963, Don served as a law enforcement specialist in the Arizona Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserve for 8 years. Don, a retired Peoria police officer, is an active member of Eugene C. Yount Post 145, The American Legion, Peoria, where he supports the ALLECA (American Legion Law Enforcement Career Academy) as a trainer and mentor to young persons, ages 11 to 19, who are interested in first responder and military careers. Don earned his Eagle in 1979. He is his Post’s Liaison with the Grand Canyon Council, Boy Scouts of America, where he serves on the Eagle Scout Review Board, is a Past District Vice Chair, serving approximately 37 years. Don Watts serves full time as a county judge and helps veterans solve their legal issues at several annual veterans’ courts.
