Biography

(1938-2020) Born in Newburgh, NY, in 1938. Enlisted in the USAF, 1957; retired in 1981 as a Master Sergeant. Currently serving as the Senior Reporter, Sierra Vista Herald newspaper, reporting on activities of soldiers and their families, veterans, and retirees. Founded the Sierra Vista Herald Annual Toy Drive. Active in Arizona Town Hall. Active in Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center Foundation, where he chairs the charity Christmas tree event; and the Sierra Vista Symphony, where he is a member of the music selection committee. Active in Greater Sierra Vista United Veterans Council, where he helped to plan and organize the Historic Soldiers Relocation Project, which was the recovery, movement and re-internment of the remains of 70 Civil and Indian War soldiers. Founding member of the Air Force Association’s Cochise Chapter.
