Biography

Born in Kingman, Arizona in 1945. Active duty Captain, US Marine Corps, Combat Engineer and Facilities Officer with service in Vietnam. After 30 years active and reserve service, Bob retired as Lieutenant Colonel in 1994. 45-year civilian career in general building construction. Active member of many civic, professional and veterans organizations; with Marine Corps League, he supported Young Marines, Toys for Tots, patients at the VA and donated more than1200 volunteer hours in the development of new Veterans’ Sports Court Facility in Prescott. Developed camp facilities for Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scouts, and coached youth sports: Pop Warner football, Little League and Soccer. As Rotary member, he helped raise $60,000 for a therapeutic swimming pool for terminally ill children. Assisted in development of museum display of Arizona Medal of Honor recipients.
