Lemons, Richard D.
Born in Toledo, Ohio in 1935. US Air Force 22 year veteran with 19 months in Vietnam. His service to the veteran community has spanned more than 35 years, to include the office of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 2 Commander and First Junior Vice Commander for DAV Department of Arizona. Since 2006, he has volunteered more than 3,500 hours as Department and Chapter Chaplain and as Chapter Service Officer, including support of the Tucson Veterans Homeless StandDown through his participation on the Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans Committee and as a member of the Executive Board of the Voluntary Service Program, VA Medical Center, Tucson. As a 60 year member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and a 33rd Degree Prince Hall Mason; he has provided many additional hours of service to his community.
