Biography

(1927-2010) Born in Whittier, California in 1927. Retired from U S. Marine Corps as Master Sergeant in 1972 with 28 years of service. Moved to St. David, Arizona, in 1986. Established relationship with Ft. Huachuca in support of local veterans in need of assistance. Volunteers technical expertise in support of local Benedictine Monastery, Holy Trinity Monastery, and frequently organizes Marines in the area to support Monastery projects. Helped provide a Catholic school in Aqua Prieta with over 1/2 ton of donated supplies to assist the school. Served as president of the St. David Water Association Board for the past 10 years, overseeing water management and ensuring adequate service at fair rates. Active member and former president of the Tombstone Lions Club, he continues to support its several youth activities, serving, on its Youth Board for six years. Recognized with Melvin Jones Fellow for dedicated humanitarian services, Lions Club International Foundation, 2001-2002.
