Biography

Born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania in 1950.  Active duty, US Navy, 1970-1978, with service as a Yeoman Second Class Petty Officer.  Former civilian Staff Psychologist, North Idaho Correctional Institution, 1987-1991.  Served on the Arizona Veterans’ Service Advisory Commission, 2004-2010, including service as Vice Chair and Chair.  While on the Commission, she helped set up a Yuma StandDown Committee which helped homeless Veterans in the Yuma, Arizona area, then she served as a volunteer worker for the next five Yuma StandDowns.  As Legislative Committee Chair for the Unified Arizona Veterans, she advocated for veterans and their families, 2006-2012.  As an active member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, she provides veterans benefits information at the Mesa Business Expo, the Mesa Marketplace, the Military Vehicles Show, and the Chandler Veterans Expo.
