Biography

(1922 – 2013) Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, in 1922. Served in U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division in WWII. Graduated from Michigan State University with a Masters Degree in Agriculture in 1951 and received a Pharmacy Degree in 1954. Founded the Fresno Agriculture Roundtable and Agriculture Legislative intern Program for five western states. Listed in Who’s Who in California as the first recipient of the Western Agriculture Lifetime Award. Member of numerous agriculture and chemical boards through the years. Active in Sun City West Posse, Arizona Rotary Club, Sun Health Foundation, Del Webb Hospital Board of Directors, Masons, community committees, and his church. Active in Military Officers Association of America and Sun City West Rotary Club, member of American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Military Order of the Purple Heart.
