Born in Prescott, Arizona in 1934. Petty Officer Third Class, US Navy, with service in the Korean War, 1952-1960. Employee, Ralston-Purina Company, Flagstaff, Retired. Resident of Chino Valley, Arizona. Director of the Knights of Columbus Saint Joseph’s Youth Camp, Mormon Lake, Arizona, for eight years. As former Commander, Post 311, Korean War Veterans, James continues to serve on the VA Voluntary Service Committee, VA Medical Center, Prescott, Arizona, supporting numerous events such as the POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony, Veterans Day Parade, and Christmas events, volunteering over 3000 hours. As a member of the Scottish-American Military Society, he supports student awards, scholarships, and charities. An active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Catherine LaBoure Catholic Church, Chino Valley, James supports the local disabled community, and the St. Vincent de Paul organization.
