Born in Yuma, Arizona in 1934. Served in U.S. Air Force. Currently active in numerous veterans’ organizations in Lakeside, Arizona, area including American Legion, VFW, DAV and Korean War Veterans Association. Spent four years as Pinetop Lakeside veterans’ representative to White Mountain Apache Tribe. Recognized with White Mountain Apache Medal of Valor and Medal of Freedom for work with Apache veterans and young people. Member of American Legion Post 60 Honor Guard Detail for 20 years; VFW Post 2364 Honor Guard for 16 years. Serves on local committee that passes out food boxes at holidays for needy veterans and widows of veterans. Chairman of 50th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration and Armed Forces Day Event held in Pinetop-Lakeside, 2001, 2002, 2003. Promoted Veterans in the Classroom, Voice of Democracy, and Patriot Pen (youth essay) programs within local school district. Chairman of Pinetop Lakeside Veteran’s Memorial program.
