| Biography | Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1940. Completed Army Officer Candidate School and commissioned in 1966. Served in the Army Reserve and Illinois Army National Guard. Awarded the Legion of Merit, retired as a Colonel in 1993. Employed by General Telephone, Hyster Company and subsequently managed John R. Ady & Associates, a human resources consulting firm. Former member, U.S. Service Academy Selection Panel for Congressman David Schweikert. Longtime volunteer with the Arizona State Fair, Maricopa County StandDown, Boy Scouts of America, the Salvation Army and Rotary International. Life Member and Past President of the Arizona Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America; the chapter receiving two consecutive Five Star of Excellence Awards. Life Member of the Association of the United States Army, The American Legion, and the National Guard Association. |
